Interactive storage tool
Where should I store my skincare?
Select the type of product and where you currently keep it. The checker focuses on heat, direct light, humidity, accidental freezing and the product label rather than assuming every serum belongs in a skincare fridge.
Rule that overrides this checker: follow the storage instructions printed on the product or its leaflet. Formulas and packaging differ even within the same ingredient category.
What the checker is designed to prevent
The most avoidable storage problems are sustained heat, direct sunlight and inventing special fridge requirements that the manufacturer did not give you. Refrigeration can also create practical issues such as condensation or temperatures outside the product's intended range. “Feels nice cold” and “needs refrigeration” are not the same thing.
