Skincare Lab UK collects as little visitor information as practical. This policy explains the current site setup and the choices available to visitors.
Optional analytics
Skincare Lab UK uses Google Analytics 4 only after a visitor explicitly accepts analytics through the consent banner. If analytics is rejected, the Google Analytics script is not enabled by Skincare Lab UK.
When analytics is accepted, we use it to understand page visits and selected site interactions, including clicks from Skincare Lab UK to Amazon UK. The site records the page, destination link and general click context so we can understand which guides and shopping routes are useful.
The consent choice is stored in your browser using local storage under the site's analytics consent preference. It can be cleared by clearing site data in your browser.
What we do not collect through the site
Skincare Lab UK does not currently operate user accounts, an active newsletter subscription service, an on site contact form or a checkout. We do not ask visitors to submit medical records, payment details or government identification through this website.
Affiliate links
Skincare Lab UK participates in the Amazon Associates Program. When you follow an Amazon UK affiliate link, you leave Skincare Lab UK. Amazon may then process information and use cookies or other tracking under its own privacy and cookie policies. Skincare Lab UK does not receive your Amazon order details.
Third party services

- Amazon UK: external retailer and affiliate destination when a visitor chooses to follow an Amazon link.

Each third party service operates under its own privacy terms.
Data retention
Analytics retention is controlled through the site's Google Analytics configuration. We do not promise a specific retention period here unless it has been verified in the current analytics settings.
Your choices
You can reject optional analytics when the consent banner is shown. You can also clear the saved preference through your browser's site data controls, which will allow you to choose again on a later visit.
Privacy enquiries
Skincare Lab UK does not currently publish a dedicated privacy email address or on site contact form. We will not claim that a contact route exists until it is operational. The site's current public identity and editorial information are available on the About page.
Changes to this policy
If the site adds new analytics, account features, forms, newsletter processing or other data collection, this policy will be updated to describe the actual setup.
