New Device Buying Guide
Therabody's TheraFace Mask Glo is a newer cordless LED mask with 504 LEDs, red, red plus infrared and blue light, and built in scalp vibration. For UK shoppers, the real question is whether its lighter £299 proposition makes more sense than buying a more expensive full feature LED mask.
Quick decision: Mask Glo is most interesting if you want a cordless hard shell LED mask with red, infrared and blue light, but do not need the higher priced 648 LED TheraFace Mask. Its unusual extra is VibraWave scalp massage built into the straps.
This is a research based buying guide, not a claim of hands on testing. We checked Therabody's current UK product information and specifications, recent UK editorial coverage, and current Amazon UK marketplace signals for the product identity.
Mask Glo is Therabody's lower priced LED face mask. Therabody UK lists it at £299 and describes a cordless design with 504 LEDs, three light programmes and scalp vibration.
That combination makes it a different proposition from flexible silicone masks that prioritise light weight and packability.

Therabody TheraFace Mask Glo
Before ordering, confirm the Amazon listing says TheraFace Mask Glo. Therabody also sells the older, more expensive TheraFace Mask, so the product name matters.
Therabody UK currently lists Mask Glo at £299. The original TheraFace Mask sits higher in the range with 648 LEDs and a higher list price. Mask Glo is therefore the model to compare if you want the core red, infrared and blue light functions without paying for the top model.
VibraWave scalp massage is the hardware feature that most clearly separates Mask Glo from conventional LED masks. It is an added comfort feature rather than another light wavelength, so decide whether that is something you would actually use.
The hard shell construction maintains a fixed shape but makes the device substantially heavier than a soft silicone mask. Therabody lists the weight at 514 g. That trade off is worth considering if you prioritise portability or very light facial contact.
It is particularly worth comparing if:
It may be less compelling if:
Philips ReAura is the more distinctive comparison if you want detachable face, eye and neck use. CurrentBody Series 3 is the comparison if you prefer a flexible mask and a different wavelength approach. Our LED mask guide covers the broader category.
Read Therabody's current precautions and contraindications before use. LED masks are not suitable for everyone, especially where photosensitising medication, relevant eye conditions or light sensitivity are involved.
Manufacturer study results do not guarantee individual results. Use the device according to current instructions and check with an appropriate medical professional if you are unsure whether LED treatment is suitable for you.
